-About-

I have been selling artwork since 2004 internationally, with collectors in the US, Germany, Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Hungary, Spain, Poland, New Zealand, Japan, China, and Austria among other places. I am self-representing. My work has been featured in art magazines, including the cover of the ACEO Magazine summer edition 2009. I currently license images to Heaven & Earth Designs for use in cross stitch charts, which can be purchased from their website.

My work is generally described as expressionist or outsider art, and often having a whimsical overtone. Many of my paintings are ACEO format (standing for "Art Cards, Editions, and Originals") which are 2.5" x 3.5" -- the dimensions of a standard baseball card, making them easy to collect in albums or display matted and framed individually or in sets.

I live in a village in Germany, near Berlin. I am married, have three little boys, and work from a home studio. I am an autodidact. I like the absolute honesty of watercolor, how the entire history is visible and cannot be covered up because it's history completes it, like a person. I have a particular interest in particle physics. Yoga and meditation are important parts of my life. Following an illness on New Years Eve of 2009 I was unable to work for half a year and am still recovering. Because of lasting neurological issues I am only able to paint when wearing eye patch now but I am optimistic. I do not like writing autobiographies.
